While Trinity is good I found that I needed to put a lot of energy pads in order to stay active. Because there are not a lot of enemies you can use your spells on and those vombalists or whatever they are called just seems to nullify skills put on them. The EV only seems to work once and that's it. What you should bring is a highly upgraded Oberon Prime or normal Oberon. His second and third skill will keep you alive through most spells unless you're hit with that earthquake type a lot of time in one go.
But as long as you jump around when that happens it'll be okay. But you will get both Auto heal and Armor bonus from this. You might need to recast this from time to time after filling up your energy but the upkeep on Oberon is far longer than on a Trinity that needs to use ultimate every now and then.

I have started playing recently and have got to the part where I got my first amp and can now hunt Eidolon's. I tried my first hunt but didn't really understand what to do? I figured out I need to take its shields out with the void beam but it takes forever to do that.
Am I doing something wrong? Head to a Grineer camp and kill, then hack their Eidolon Lures. You need 2 to cature a Teralyst, and 3 for the other two. Charge the Lures with 3 Vomvalysts each. At this point, other than making sure that they haven't been destroyed, Lures can be mostly ignored, as they do everything they need to automatically.
However, you can't capture without them, so don't forget about them completely. Find the Eidolon, switch to Operator mode, and start shooting it with your Amp. It's shields can only be damaged by Void damage, and only your Amp deals that.
Once the shields are down, the things on it's "elbows" and "knees" will take damage from regular weapons. The armor type these have takes extra damage from Radiation, which is why you'll see a lot of people using the Lanka. Keep an eye on the Vomvalysts! At some point in the fight, they'll rush to the Eidolon and start restoring it's shields, requiring you to deplete them again.
Take them out before they restore the Eidolon to full shields. After one of the elbow or knee things is broken, the Eidolon will release a series of waves of Magnetic damage. This will kill you if you're too close, so back away until they're done. If you have charged Lures, you can start damaging the shields again, as the Lure will keep it there. If you don't have a charged Lure, it will teleport away and you'll have to find it in order to lay into it.
Either way, it's just a repeat of what you've already done: deplete shields, break limb. Break all 4 limbs, and the face becomes vulnerable. Damage that until the Eidolon finally falls.

The Vomvalyst spawn rate will increase notably. Once all four Synovia joints have been destroyed, the Teralyst will drop down and summon a school of Eidolon Vomvalysts in their ethereal form to merge with it.
The players should intercept and kill as many as possible. This phase will end automatically after approximately 30 seconds. In this phase, the Teralyst will not regenerate its shields and can be killed entirely. Their attack pattern closely resembles the pattern of the third phase. If successfully defeated while tethered by at least two charged Eidolon Luresthe Teralyst will be captured.
The lures will self-destruct and yield an additional four Intact Sentient Cores, two Exceptional Sentient Cores, a Flawless Sentient Core, and a Brilliant Eidolon Shard ; all of which drop from the lures and not the corpse of the Teralyst.

The quest will be broken down into several steps with harder bounties taking more to complete. The upside is that each step rewards its own share of standing. Incursions are basically mini-bounties. There will be a one-stage mission waiting for you once you get to the incursion site. Complete it to earn a stipend of standing and a light bonus reward usually crafting materials, credits, or mods. Besides bounty and incursion-based combat encounters, you can also turn in materials gathered from the Plains for Ostron Standing.
Said materials include fish and gems, which are gathered by fishing and mining. In the meantime, know that neither is the best method of acquiring standing.
